We warmly invite you to the 12th Symposium for the International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy to be held from 31 October – 02 November 2024 at Lord Charles Hotel, Cape Town. We will also be offering a virtual experience to delegates who are unable to attend in person.
The International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy (IAVRPT) is an organization bringing together scientists, educators, and veterinary rehabilitation practitioners to stimulate and support the growth of veterinary rehabilitation and physical therapy, and to translate the shared knowledge into improved animal rehabilitation worldwide.
The 2024 IAVRPT Symposium is held in partnership with SAAPRA. We will be bringing you 3 days of world-class lectures with small animal and equine streams running side by side. This symposium will serve as a strong networking platform to build and foster collaborative research and enhance communication between the academic field and clinical practice. Pre-symposium Equine and Canine wet labs will also be available on the 30 October for anyone wishing to extend their visit to Cape Town
Abstracts will be published on VCOT Open: Veterinary and Comparative Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
The theme for this symposium is Innovation in Rehabilitation.
